Charles Joseph Vantillard (1836-1909), apprentice at Oudinot in Paris between 1853 and 1856 In 1874, he took over Maison Ména at 12 rue Tlemcen in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. From 1889, he had his studio at 4 rue Daubigny in 1889. Joseph Vantillard was present at the Universal Exhibition of 1878, as well as at several regional exhibitions between 1882 and 1887 where he won numerous decorations.
