Stained glass window composed of 4 panels of smooth glass painted in grisaille and enamels, attributed to Edmond Chauffrey (1843-1926), glass and porcelain painter in Bordeaux. He is the father of Edouard (1874-1950) and Louis (1881-1969) Chauffrey who succeeded him.
This set presents a pondside landscape: nasturtiums and ipomea or morning glories in the upper part, irises, hollyhocks, water lilies and reeds in the lower part. In the center, a heron or wading bird and kingfishers flying between the flowers.
Perfect condition, wooden frame.
