Stained glass window depicting the assumption of the virgin also called dormition painted with enamels, grisaille and silver yellow on smooth glass. Very beautiful realization of the Lorin workshops in Chartres and dated 1902, made during the period of Charles Lorin 1866-1940. The Lorin workshops were created by Nicolas Lorin in 1863, this workshop is still in operation and remains on the oldest workshop still in operation to this day.
